Approximately four and a half furlongs out, Huggable (GB), placed fourth, stumbled rounding the bend, taking Timely Affair (GB), unplaced, off its intended line, but after viewing a recording of the incident, it was found that no riding offence was involved, and that it had not improved the placing of Huggable (GB).
An enquiry was held to consider interference approximately two furlongs out, involving Spirit Of Albion (IRE), placed second, ridden by Robert Havlin, and Havana Tobouggaloo (GB), unplaced, ridden by David Probert.
Havlin was cautioned for careless riding as he allowed his mount to shift right-handed when insufficiently clear, causing Probert to take a precautionary check aboard a green-running Havana Tobouggaloo (GB).
