An enquiry was held to consider interference leaving the back straight, involving Huit Reflets (FR), placed third, ridden by Mr Paddy Barlow and Rickety Gate (GB), unplaced, ridden by Miss Ella McGarry.
Miss Thomasina Eyston, the rider of Foxwood (IRE), placed fourth, was present in the enquiry but was found to have not been involved in the incident.
Barlow was suspended for 4 days for careless riding as he allowed his mount to drift left-handed when insufficiently clear, causing Rickety Gate (GB), to become crowded for room and stumble.
Following the race, Mr Toby McCain-Mitchell reported that Present Fair (IRE), unplaced, weakened quickly turning into the home straight.
