The winner No Regrets (IRE) appeared to show improved form compared with its previous run at Carlisle on 22 March 2026 where the gelding finished eighth of twelve runners, beaten by 31¼ lengths.
The explanation given by Nicky Richards that No Regrets (IRE) had benefitted from being able to dominate on this occasion, was noted.
Following the race, Ryan Mania reported that Jet Legs (IRE), placed fifth, had weakened quickly having made a bad mistake at the last fence.
