An enquiry was held to consider interference entering the bend going out on the final circuit when G'day Aussie (GB), placed second, ridden by Jay Tidball interfered with Floating Rock (GER), placed fourth, ridden by Chris Ward and Al Mootamarid (IRE), placed third, ridden by Robert Dunne.
Tidball was suspended for 2 days for careless riding as having jumped right-handed he was inattentive when moving back towards the rail when not sufficiently clear of Al Mootamarid (IRE), causing the two horses on his inside to become short of room.
Following the race, Dave Roberts reported that G'day Aussie (GB), placed second, lost its left-fore shoe.
