Approaching the final furlong TITANIUM, unplaced, shifted marginally right-handed at the same time as Jez Bomb (GB), placed fourth, went for a legitimate gap, causing that runner to be taken off its intended line which resulted in Timetobenice (GB), unplaced, becoming tight for room on the rail and its rider having to ease slightly.
After viewing a recording of the incident, it was found that no riding offence was involved.
Following the race, Shane Gray reported that Jez Bomb (GB), placed fourth, jumped awkwardly from the stalls and P J McDonald reported that Lincoln Rockstar (IRE), unplaced, was slowly away.
