Permission was given for Jet Patrol (IRE) to go early to post and for both Zenato (IRE) and Sain Et Sauf (GB) to wear a red hood to post.
The Veterinary Officer reported that Chris Gordon the trainer of Superstylin (IRE), had administered electrolytes to the gelding on the day of the race.
The Trainer and the Veterinary Officer were interviewed.
As the Stewards could not be satisfied that Superstylin (IRE) had received only normal food and water by mouth on the day of the race, they withdrew the gelding, ordered it to be routine tested and referred the matter to the Head Office of the British Horseracing Authority.
