Permission was given for Spinning Lizzie (GB) and Sukanya (GB) to wear a red hood to post.
Approximately ½ a furlong after the start, a free running Orion's Belt (IRE), placed sixth, lugged left- handed resulting in Aylin (IRE), placed third, being shifted left-handed, which in turn moved Sukanya (GB), placed fourth, off its intended line, but after viewing a recording of the incident, it was found that no riding offence was involved.
Approaching the final furlong, Jennifer Jane (IRE), unplaced, shifted slightly left-handed at the same time as Aylin (IRE), placed third, moved marginally right-handed, causing the rider of Orion's Belt (IRE), placed sixth, to take a slight check.
But after viewing a recording of the incident, it was found that no riding offence was involved and that it had not improved the placing of Aylin (IRE).
Following the race, Hollie Doyle reported that Spinning Lizzie (GB), placed fifth, ran too free.
