An enquiry was held to consider interference approximately 1 furlong out involving the winner, Hope Queen (IRE), ridden by Clifford Lee, Mystic Moment (GB), placed fifth, ridden by Callum Hutchinson, and ORION’S BELT (IRE), placed third, ridden by Sam Hitchcott.
Lee was suspended for 2 days for careless riding in that he switched Hope Queen (IRE) left-handed into an insufficient gap causing Mystic Moment (GB) to become short of room between both Hope Queen (IRE) and ORION’S BELT (IRE) which had shifted slightly right-handed away from the whip before being corrected by Hitchcott.
