THE BET BOOST AT bet365 HANDICAP HURDLE RACE (CLASS 4) Permission was given for Caelan (IRE) to wear a red hood to post.
An enquiry was held to consider the unruly behaviour of Hope Rising (IRE), which had whipped round as the start was effected, causing the mare to lose many lengths.
Jamie Snowden and the Starter were interviewed and shown recordings of the incident.
As Hope Rising (IRE) had been reluctant to jump off at Stratford-on-Avon on 30 May 2026 and on another occasion at Chepstow on 11 October 2025 where she had refused to race.
Snowden was informed that any future similar behaviour from the mare may result in Hope Rising (IRE) being reported to the Head Office of the British Horseracing Authority.
