The winner, Monviel (IRE), appeared to show improved form compared with its previous run at Uttoxeter on 15 March 2025 where the gelding finished tenth of fifteen runners, beaten by 25 ½ lengths.
The representative of Harry Derham explained that Monviel (IRE) had appreciated the Good to Soft, Good going on this occasion which in their opinion was riding quicker than described.
