The Raceday Stewards enquired from C. Cullinan rider of Abitofasort who fell on the flat a mile from the finish
The rider confirmed that his mount stumbled and fell independently of any horse. Having viewed a recording of the incident, the Raceday Stewards took no further action
Mr D.G. Lavery, rider of Simply Natural (GB), trained by Gavin Cromwell, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount finished lame. This was subsequently confirmed by an IHRB Veterinary Officer
The Raceday Stewards informed A McCann that a repeat performance of his charge who bolted to the start and was subsequently withdrawn By Order Of The Raceday Stewards may render the animal liable to a suspension in the future.

An I.N.H. flat race for four years old and upwards mares only that have not won a race under any N.H. Rules or Rules of Racing (excluding Academy Hurdles and 3-y-o Junior N.H. Hurdles) that are EBF eligible Weights - 11st 11lbs. Riders - Qualified Riders under I.N.H.S. Rules. Professional Riders under I.N.H.S. Rules (other than Apprentices) who have not lost the right to claim the 7lb allowance under Rule 52 (up to and including 5th November) may also ride in this race. (The winning owner of this race will receive a €5000 bonus (€7500 bonus if Irish bred and has not previously won a bonus payment in an Academy Hurdle) should the winning filly be eligible for the Weatherbys Ireland/I.T.B.A. N.H. Fillies Bonus Scheme and has not previously won a bonus payment in an Academy Hurdle)
