The Raceday Stewards enquired into an incident in the straight involving Elana Osario (GB), ridden by C.T
Keane, placed first, and Island Hopping, ridden by D.P. McDonogh, placed second, where it appeared Island Hopping drifted left bumping Elana Osario. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. C.T. Keane said he received a bump from his right. D.P. McDonogh said his filly ducked from the stalls quiet quickly however he added he probably shouldn't have struck it the last time. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence including where D.P. McDonogh's mount shied at the same point on the previous circuit, the Raceday Stewards took no further action other than to advise D.P. McDonogh to react faster in a similar situation in future

D. McMonagle, rider of Uluru, trained by Joseph Patrick O'Brien, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount got squeezed coming out of the stalls
R.P. Cleary, rider of Calrissiana (GB), trained by Noel Meade, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount received a bump coming out of stalls
D.P. McDonogh, rider of Island Hopping, trained by A.P.O'Brien, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount ducked at the stalls one furlong out
The Raceday Stewards reviewed an incident leaving the stalls where Island Hopping, ridden by D.P. McDonogh, jumped left from stalls bumping Uluru and Calrissiana. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the matter, the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that no further action was warranted.
