The Raceday Stewards reviewed an incident one furlong from the finish involving Sporting Glance (FR), ridden by Mr R. James, placed fourth, Steppingstone (FR), ridden by Mr P.W. Mullins, placed third, and Walk On The Beach, ridden by Mr J.L. Gleeson, placed first, where it appeared there was slight contact between horses. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the matter, the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that no further action was warranted
