Approximately 6 furlongs out, the rider of the winner, Tarriance (GB), had to switch sharply left-handed off the heels of Gravitas (IRE) as a result of the colt sustaining an injury and in so doing bumped and carried Tremorgio (GB), placed third, off its intended line resulting in both the riders of Pendragon (IRE), placed second, and Boatswain (GB), placed fourth, having to steady their mounts who were both racing at the rear of the field, but after viewing a recording of the incident, it was found that no riding offence was involved.
Approximately ½ a furlong out, Pendragon (IRE), placed second, edged right-handed giving a light bump to the winner, Tarriance (GB), but after viewing a recording of the incident, it was found that no riding offence was involved.
Following the race, Rhys Clutterbuck reported that Too Soon (GB), placed fifth, ran too free.
