Farhh Echo (IRE), placed fourth, beaten by 3¾ lengths, which was backed from an opening price of 40/1 into an SP of 10/1, appeared to show improved form compared with its three previous runs over hurdles, where the gelding was pulled up on its first run, before being beaten 60 and 85 lengths over the same 2 mile trip.
The explanation given by D J Jeffreys that the gelding had benefitted from a break, during which Farhh Echo (IRE)'s jumping had improved following more schooling sessions at home, was noted.
Farhh Echo (IRE) was routine tested.
Following the race, Adam Wedge reported that Sir Rodney (GB), which was pulled up, hung right-handed.
