RACE (CLASS 5) (Part of the Racing Excellence Series) An enquiry was held to consider interference shortly after turning into the home straight involving, Inspector Lynley (GB), unplaced, ridden by Benjamin Macey and Zoffalee (FR), placed fifth, ridden by Rian Corcoran.
Macey was suspended for 4 days for improper riding as he angled his mount right-handed when racing upsides Zoffalee (FR), who was bumped on several occasions and moved off its intended line, when Macey ought to have known that interference would occur as a result of his actions.

The Veterinary Officer examined Inspector Lynley (GB) post-race and had nothing to report.
