Permission was given for An Bradan Feasa (IRE) and Aslukgoes (GB) to wear a red hood to post.
An enquiry was held to consider interference shortly after jumping the second last flight of hurdles involving, the winner, An Bradan Feasa (IRE), ridden by Sean Bowen and Heather Honey (GB), placed third, ridden by Peter Kavanagh.
The interference was found to be accidental as Bowen had to switch his mount left-handed off the heels of Aslukgoes (GB), placed fourth, who made a mistake jumping the second last, which initially gave a bump to Heather Honey (GB) who was lugging quickly right-handed, which in turn caused Heather Honey (GB) and An Bradan Feasa (IRE) to make contact and Heather Honey (GB) to be moved of its intended line.
Following the race, Charlie Deutsch reported that Little Dipper (GB) , unplaced, hung right-handed in the home straight.
