An enquiry was held to consider interference shortly after the start involving Doctor Khan Junior (GB), placed third, ridden by P J McDonald, and Aisling Oscar (IRE), placed fourth, ridden by Hollie Doyle.
McDonald was suspended for 2 days for careless riding, as he shifted his mount left-handed when insufficiently clear, carrying the free-running Aisling Oscar (IRE) off its intended line, which resulted in Doyle having to take a check.
Following the race, Hollie Doyle reported that Aisling Oscar (IRE), placed fourth, hung right-handed under pressure.
