An enquiry was held to consider interference leaving the back straight on the final circuit, involving Broomfield Gale (IRE), placed third, ridden by Mr Robbie David, and Captain Howse (IRE), placed second, ridden by Caoilin Quinn.
Being a 7lb claiming amateur, David was offered the opportunity to be accompanied but declined.
Kevin Brogan, the rider of TREVOR’S LAD (IRE), placed fifth, was also interviewed but found not to be involved.
Quinn was cautioned for careless riding as he allowed his mount to lug left-handed when insufficiently clear of Broomfield Gale (IRE), resulting in its rider having to take a slight check.
Following the race, Miss Eleanor Williams reported that Coup De Gold (IRE), placed fourth, ran too free.
