The cheekpiece was inspected and as it was found to be in a serviceable condition, no further action was taken.
The winner, The Wire Flyer (GB), appeared to show improved form compared with its previous run at Ffos Las on 17 April 2025 where the gelding finished eighth of nine runners beaten by 32 lengths.
It was noted that the representative of Alison Thorpe could offer no explanation for gelding’s improved form.
