THE CONSTANT SECURITY SERVING YORKSHIRE RACECOURSES HANDICAP STAKES (CLASS 5) Shortly after the start, a free running Sergeant Mayer (IRE), unplaced, shifted right-handed making contact with Military Girl (IRE), placed third, which unbalanced that filly and caused Military Girl (IRE) to lean back left-handed making further contact with Sergeant Mayer (IRE) which also became unbalanced, but after viewing a recording of the incident it was found that no riding offence was involved and it had not improved the placing of Military Girl (IRE).
Following the race, Cam Hardie reported that Dark Kestrel (IRE), placed fourth, was slow away.
