Permission was given for Azucena (IRE) to go early to post wearing a red hood, and for Without Flaw (IRE), Better (IRE) and Brazen Belle (GB) to go to post early.
Having reviewed the start, the Stewards were satisfied that Brazen Belle (GB) was mounted as the start was effected, and therefore deemed the mare to be a runner.
Following the race, Harrison Shaw reported that Jamie Bond (GB), unplaced, was reluctant to race and slowly away, losing many lengths and was therefore unable to get competitive.
Mark Winn reported that Better (IRE), placed fifth, was slowly away.
