The winner, Manhattan Chute (IRE), appeared to show improved form compared with its previous run at Lingfield Park, on 10 January 2026, where the gelding finished last of seven runners, beaten 11¼ lengths.
It was noted that Jim & Suzi Best could offer no explanation for the gelding’s improved form.
