Permission was given for Summer Evening (IRE) to be mounted in the chute and go early to post, and for Ciotog (IRE) to wear a red hood to post.
An enquiry was held to consider interference rounding the bend into the home straight, involving Summer Evening (IRE), placed second, ridden by Miss Louise Chance, and Whiteley Way (GB), unplaced, ridden by Mr Harry Brown.
