An enquiry was held to consider interference leaving the back straight, involving Distant Rumble (GB), unplaced, ridden by George Bass; Sergio Parisse (GB), placed third, ridden by Rossa Ryan; Dream Voyage (GB), unplaced, ridden by David Probert, and Horus (GB), placed fourth, ridden by Sean Levey.
The interference was found to be accidental as Probert was racing keenly and awkwardly which resulted in him shifting right-handed, causing Ryan to be moved slightly off his intended line, resulting in Levey having to take a check.
Following the race, William Carver reported that Em Four (GB), unplaced, ran too free.
