Alshinfarah (IRE), trained by Kevin Philippart de Foy, had failed to enter the Parade Ring, due to Crowley being late to weigh out after riding the winner of the previous race.
An enquiry was held to consider interference from approximately 1 ½ furlongs out involving Flight Plan (GB), placed fifth, ridden by Clifford Lee and Whitcombe Rockstar (GB), unplaced, ridden by Josephine Gordon.
Lee was cautioned for careless riding as he allowed his mount to drift slightly left-handed without sufficient correction, causing Gordon to have to take a slight check.
