While failing to fire at Cork recently, that effort will have left him primed for this assignment, and with Shane O'Callaghan claiming a valuable 5lb, it'll be disappointing if he's not involved towards the business end. Second in a point-to-point when in the care of Colin Bowe and progressing since switching to handicap company, Sheer Raz is the second choice. A brother to A Dream To Share, it'll be interesting to see if first time blinkers have the desired effect on Liberated Light, while others for the shortlist in this open contest are course winners Kimy and Stumblin In.

Kimy had the cheekpieces on today but I don't know whether they made the difference as she was coming along well. She had a lot of weight in Ballinrobe the last day and that was a good run. She never scopes clean, that's her problem but had nicer ground today and I knew she was getting better. She only needed to improve a little bit to win this race. Everything went sweet for Danny, there was no problems. She'll go to the Lartigue at Listowel but will be out of the handicap if Nurburgring (Galway Hurdle winner) runs. We'll stick her in it anyway and she where she is.

It wasn’t that much of a surprise. We fancied her because she ran very well in Wexford the other day. We picked the wrong race for her there - 2m5f was too far for her and we brought her back to 2m1f today. In Wexford at today’s distance she was cruising but she didn’t see out the trip. She handled the ease in the ground but we were hoping it wouldn’t get too soft because she’ll go on better ground as well. She’s the only one I have in training at the moment. We’ll try and find a handicap for her and hopefully he (the handicapper) won’t give her too much for that. It was a very ordinary race.
