The Raceday Stewards enquired into an incident in the closing stages of this race involving Saint Agatha, ridden by J.A. Heffernan, placed second, and You'll Think Of Me, ridden by G.M. Ryan, placed sixth, where it appeared Saint Agatha drifted into You'll Think Of Me. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. J. A. Heffernan stated that his mount was green and shied away when the winner moved slightly. G. M. Ryan stated that his mount drifted out away from the horse inside him and he was not sure if there had been contact. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards took no further action other than to remind J. A. Heffernan to react quicker if in a similar situation in future.
