Formscan By Gary Carson - This looks like a nice opportunity for CAST A SPELL. She ran well in a decent conditions race last time when third to Aurora Vega at Fairyhouse on New Year’s Day. The Mastercraftsman mare had also run a solid race when fourth in handicap company off this mark at Navan previously and Cian Quirke is back on board to take off a useful 5lb. Ad Caelum comes here in fine form and looks an obvious danger. She has won two of her last three but has to defy an 8lb hike for her victory in Limerick. Deons Diamond has been running better over fences but could be place material here.
