Formscan By Tom Weekes - PURE ACTION gives away weight all around here but might still prove good enough to win. He has shown a useful level of ability throughout his career, has proven form at this track and comes here clearly fit and well having been beaten just a nose at Cork recently. Dandy Rock has himself shown bits of useful form and while well enough held at Laytown latest, had previously run well from his rating over 7f here in August. Blue Skimmer’s form can be a little in-and-out but has form at this venue in the past and has his chance if returned to that level of form. Smugglers Creek is badly drawn in 12 but showed ability on debut and is capable of plenty progression stepping up in trip, with Pat Smullen a positive booking. Presidential has shown ability and while he might need to improve to win, does have a nice weight.
