Formscan By Mark Nunan - KNOCKLANE LASS was slowly away and never competitive when fancied on debut at Navan early last month but ran much better just eleven days later at Naas. She again missed a beat at the start but came home well to be second to Siesta Beach and the extra furlong here should suit. The daughter of Profitable makes her all-weather debut but that is not a concern given her trainer’s record at Dundalk. Simply Glorious represents a yard whose juveniles finished the turf season on a high and the well-bred War Front filly ran well in a hot Leopardstown maiden when last seen. She has a five month lay-off to overcome but is likely to go close given the form of her stable. Lucky Queen showed ability in a back-end Curragh maiden and is an outsider to consider while expensive yearling Osraige is a half-sister to a couple of all-weather winners and gained some experience of this track in a barrier trial in September.
