Formscan  - The Andrew Balding stable have been in terrific form of late and CUBAN MELODY could provide them with further success today. The daughter of Havana Grey has weakened late on both of her starts over 7f, so this drop to a sprint trip could see the filly sustain her finishing effort. William Haggas' Mono River was relatively weak in the market when occupying the runner-up spot at Yarmouth nine days ago and a similar level of performance will bring him firmly into the picture. Penalised Southwell winner Federal Envoy and newcomer Laguna Boy are just two others to consider.
