Formscan By Gary Carson - SMOOTH SCOTCH has run in two strong maiden hurdles on his last couple of outings and may be on a nice mark for his handicap debut. The Libertarian gelding was fifth behind Air Of Entitlement here at Christmas and that form obviously looks good now with the mare winning at Cheltenham during the week. Timmy Tuesday is a consistent sort and wasn’t beaten far when third at Exeter last time. He’s an obvious danger. Savante was sent off favourite for a competitive event at the Dublin Racing festival on her last outing. She finished mid-division then but could get closer now in this.
