Formscan By Alan Magee - APPLE’S OF BRESIL has shown plenty of promise both in bumpers and maiden hurdles and may have found a good opportunity to open his jumping account. The Barry Connell-trained gelding won a Sligo bumper in July and was a creditable fourth last time behind Jackfinbar in a maiden hurdle here at the Festival meeting. Portcammon won a Roscommon bumper in good style on debut and was absent for a year until reappearing again in a bumper here last month, while The Mediator also won a bumper on debut way back in 2021 and has plenty of experience over hurdles. Point-to-point winner Olympy De Cerisy has been expensive to follow in bumpers.
