Runner-up on his only French start last May, he was well touted to make a winning Irish debut at Down Royal in November before finishing well beaten in fourth behind a smart winner. He then ran a solid race when finishing fourth at Grade 3 level and while he was the beaten 6/4 favourite at Leopardstown over Christmas, that was a hot race and today's race is a drop in standard, with trip and ground in his favour. King Pellinor looks the danger having fallen at the final flight on jumps debut at Limerick over Christmas. A heavy ground winner on the flat, he was in contention, having met traffic trouble, when falling at the final flight and while he might find SAINT D'OROUX too good today, should still give him a race. Millswyn had a flat rating of 90 and while he has been well enough held on his two hurdle outings todate, should be able to reach the placings today with some more progression over hurdles possible. Annie Pender was ordinary on the flat but has shown much more on her two hurdle outings. She hung left late-on at Punchestown in December before finishing ahead of Millswyn at Naas in January and while she might struggle to win this, has place prospects.
