Formscan  - BUCK OF MAINE ran a solid race, shaping as if this extra yardage could be the perfect tonic, when third over the extended 2m3f at Stratford last month. Peter and Michael Bowen's five-year-old was beaten just one and three-quarter lengths on that occasion and this mark of 75 looks exploitable. Noah's Light was a bloodless winner over 2m5f at Newton Abbot but a 9lb rise in the ratings could prove difficult to negotiate, while Warner's Cross makes some appeal too.
