The Willie Mullins-trained gelding justified good support on his reappearance in a Naas maiden and again had the measure of Longhouse Poet when beating all bar Envoi Allen in the Grade 1 Lawlor’s Of Naas Novice Hurdle. He kept on in a fashion that would suggest the extra quarter mile here should not be a problem and, on a line through Conflated, appears to have the measure of Latest Exhibition. Paul Nolan’s charge did well to come back from a blunder at halfway when accounting for Andy Dufresne over 2m4f at Navan and should relish this stamina test. Fury Road is a perfect three from three over hurdles this term but faces his biggest test yet after overcoming a mistake at the last when landing a Grade 2 at the Limerick Christmas meeting. His stamina is assured while the Gigginstown challenge is further bolstered by maiden winners Assemble and Cobbler’s Way.
