Formscan - Auguste Rodin is bound to be popular following his victory in a Group 2 at Leopardstown last month. However, the strength of that form can be questioned and, with that in mind, preference is for EPICTETUS, who created a big impression when winning on his debut at Newmarket in July. He was then off the track until his narrow defeat in the Autumn Stakes two weeks ago. That was a good effort in the circumstances and this son of Kingman may have more to offer. Holloway Boy could be vulnerable to classier rivals but he is consistent and is likely to be in the mix.
