Formscan By Michael Graham - This is a drop in class for HARANA (1) who ran a fair race in fifth in the Nasrullah Handicap at Leopardstown just over a fortnight ago. Dermot Weld's charge wasn't winning out of turn on her penultimate start in a Ballinrobe maiden. Dylan Browne McMonagle comes in for the ride on Liberation Date who ran a stormer in third in a very valuable handicap over further at the Curragh, so her chance has to be respected. Hambleton is in good heart after a victory in Cork and a close second at York, while Frank Pickle enjoyed fast ground when victorious in this grade at Leopardstown. Afterwards, connections stated that he is learning to relax, so there could be more to come from him.
An extended handicap for three years old and upwards (80 = 10st)Penalties - (after calculation of the handicap) A winner shall carry 7lb extra for each race won.

Quotes on Frank Pickle (IRE)
He's been running over one-mile-four, one-mile two. We worked him in the Curragh last week and, he worked so well. Ben just said don't be afraid to come back in trip because he's got tons of speed. He's relaxed now cause he used to not relax. Now that he's relaxed you can actually do something. At this stage I think we can go anywhere with him the way the horse is. Well, maybe not a wee tight track because he is a very good mover with a big stride. Now that he's settled in himself, he's easy to ride. Ben does a great job on him. And the owners are brilliant. They are fantastic owners, the Newells. They are very patient and, he needed patience. After Frank Pickle (IRE) finished 1st at Leopardstown on Thu, 9th Jul 2026 1m Flat Hcap Good

Quotes on Ocean Manifest (IRE)
Very consistent. It took a long time for him to win the maiden, but we kept him lightly raced, kept him sweet, and I think that has been the key to him. He had a breathing operation last April, so it has just taken a bit of time to get the confidence back into the horse. He has been a revelation there this winter, holding his form really well. Delighted for John Kirkland and his wife Jeanette, and also Jim and Geraldine Ryan who have been great supporters of me so far, they have a couple of nice horses with me. I'm just delighted this horse is flying the flag for the winter months. We will look for something similar next. We might be out of the '80' bracket, but we will look for something hopefully in the '90' grade in a month's time and we will see what is there. I'm not sure whether Newcastle would suit but we will come up with a nice plan for him. Possibly Lingfield. He's a real good-ground horse and he wants a flat track. He will be a nice horse for the summer months, I'm sure. He's lightly-enough raced and I'm hoping that there is more improvement to come. He's definitely a better horse over the mile trip. After Ocean Manifest (IRE) finished 1st at Dundalk on Fri, 16th Jan 2026 1m Flat Hcap Standard

Quotes on Red Hugh O'Donnell (IRE)
I’m over the moon with him,. He’s a tricky horse at times but he actually ran a cracker in the charity race last time and I think it helped him an awful lot, he got a bit of confidence out of it and he’s been in super form at home. You can never be confident enough to actually say today is the day. I’m delighted, I’m delighted Paddy rode him and for everyone involved. He won this day last year as well and I think Killarney suits him. He has a long enough straight there that when he gets into a fight he’s able to stick his head out. I was hopeful but lightning doesn’t strike twice. I was so happy with the way he came out of the Curragh. After Red Hugh O'Donnell (IRE) finished 1st at Killarney on Tue, 14th Jul 2026 1m Flat Hcap Good

Quotes on Zaraahmando (IRE)
I thought he was a bit hard giving him 8lb for winning the last day. He got handicapped last year when he was running too free in his races but he’s settling better. Hopefully he keeps progressing and if we can get him into Galway he’ll probably go there. He’s in Saturday in Dundalk but as of now he’s not running. We’lI sleep on it and see how he is in the morning. After Zaraahmando (IRE) finished 1st at Fairyhouse on Wed, 9th Jul 2025 7f Flat Hcap Good

Quotes on No More Porter (IRE)
He was very good on him. He doesn't usually back up his races and I took a chance after the other day in Listowel. Fair play to Ronny (Whelan), he didn't abuse him the other day after his chance was gone. He didn't have a hard race and came home and grubbed up well. That was a big factor to running him again. . He never runs a bad race here, it was probably my mistake going to Listowel. It's worked out now so it's not too bad. . He's been a bit unlucky and hasn't won in a few years, since we bought him. He's been second in a Galway Mile and in three or four good premier handicaps. . He's a very good horse in those big handicaps when they go fast. They went good and fast today, he hit a bit of a flat spot in the middle but he stays galloping. . He's well handicapped if we can get another pot somewhere. There is a race on the last day of the year at Leopardstown but he doesn't want it very soft either. Quotes on Liberation Date (GB)
Great to get the first one. The horses have been running really well and we have had plenty of horses placed. This lady had good form coming here today and we were expecting a big run from her. She probably does (need every yard of that), but she will come on plenty now from that experience. She's a big lady and she's learning every day. She's going to improve again. We always thought plenty of her. She's coming now and she is learning off every run. Possibly she will be put away now and we'll wait for the turf to come back or we could come back up again here say in February or March. When she gets a break, she will strengthen up plenty for the break. When she steps up in trip, she will improve. Hopefully, she can bring us to some good places if she is not sold. As with all our horses, they are all for sale. Loved my time riding, and I suppose this was the next step and enjoying every minute of it. It is a completely different avenue to riding them. I have big support from Donnchadh (Doyle), so I have to thank him an awful lot. He has provided me with a yard, and he has filled it as well, so very lucky. I helped out with a few breezers last year and I got a good bug from that then. When Donnchadh and I spoke, that was the next step. There were plenty to train. I have a couple of two-year-olds that haven't run. They will run next year as three-year-olds. I have a couple that might run up here next week. Donnchadh has been very busy buying yearlings at the sales, so we are goinAfter Liberation Date (GB) finished 1st at Dundalk on Fri, 12th Dec 2025 7f Flat Maiden Standard

Quotes on Hambelton (IRE)
He is a huge, huge horse. He is like a point-to-pointer and is a typical Ghaiyyath. He is brilliantly behaved at home, a child would ride him, but he likes to get on with the job at the racecourse. To be fair to him, that's the first time he has ever stepped foot on good ground and that is what he has been crying out for. The ground came up too soft for him at Haydock the last day and I think he is a very nice horse who will progress a lot. He'll be sold later in the year and could be a lovely horse for someone for next year. After Hambelton (IRE) finished 1st at Cork on Sun, 14th Jun 2026 1m Flat Hcap Good
