She hasn’t had much time to get over her exertions but was runner-up twice on heavy ground last term and hopefully won’t bounce from that big effort after eleven months out of action. Arctician is best in on ratings and is tried in a visor for the first time. He twice ran well in Group company last year but was well off that form when third at Tipperary on his comeback run in August. Soft ground doesn’t seem to be an issue and he should go close. Palifico ran well on soft ground here last year and should improve on last month’s Fairyhouse third which was her first start of the year.
