Formscan By Shane Redmond - Supporters of MONOGRAM (6) will be hoping that his relative inexperience doesn’t count against him. He made a winning debut over this course and distance last month, brushing aside a tardy start and then passing all 15 fellow debutants for a last-gasp success. The form of that race has barely been tested but he’s entitled to improve, he’s been supplemented for this race, and could yet play a leading role. British raider Dr Rascal is a more proven performer and is unbeaten in three starts, narrowly getting the better of today’s rival Haffner when landing a Group 2 at Goodwood last time. Boasting similar form is Giant Sequoia who looks the pick of the Ballydoyle trio after his narrow win in the Group 2 Futurity Stakes, also over this course and distance.
For two years old colts and fillies onlyWeights - 9st 5lbs. Fillies allowed 3lbs.

Quotes on Florida Bay (IRE)
Very happy. The last day, they went too fast. They got ganged up and they went too hard. Wayne gave him a good ride. He let him bowl along and he won nicely. He's not slow - even a mile could be far enough for him. He could be a horse for the Futurity. After Florida Bay (IRE) finished 1st at Leopardstown on Thu, 23rd Jul 2026 7f Flat Good

Quotes on Folsom Blues (IRE)
He was an eyecatcher the first day and we were happy that he was ready to go to seven (furlongs). I thought he was very impressive really and I think he's a smart colt. I suppose the Tyros would be an obvious stepping stone for him from here. Lots to look forward to, hopefully. After Folsom Blues (IRE) finished 1st at Gowran Park on Fri, 12th Jun 2026 7f Flat Maiden Yielding

Quotes on Porto Vecchio (IRE)
He's a very progressive colt and I thought he'd run a very nice race. He hasn't been on grass this year yet, which is surprising for one of mine. This was his first time, so I thought he just might find it all a little bit strange, and be a little bit immature. He did it all very professionally. He's a good colt. I think he's definitely stakes calibre. He's an own brother to Homeless Songs, who won the Irish 1,000 Guineas for me. I'd hope that we could build him into a horse that could run in the National Stakes, that'd be the plan for him. My first two-year-old colt to run this year. I said a couple of weeks ago, when Purview won the Group 3, that we had some nice two-year-olds to produce in the coming weeks and he was the first of them. After Porto Vecchio (IRE) finished 1st at Curragh on Sat, 18th Jul 2026 7f Flat Maiden Good to Firm

Quotes on Trean (IRE)
He had a very good debut, I think he’s a very good horse,. Obviously the stable was just under a cloud around Ascot time, into the Irish Derby, and we just took back with the two-year-olds and gave them a chance. He had the option of coming here on Sunday for the auction series maiden but I said to Billy if he’s the horse I think he is he should be running tonight. He’s in the National Stakes, he’s in pretty much everything. I think Bayside Boy is a very good stallion and I think this is a very good horse. After Trean (IRE) finished 1st at Galway on Mon, 27th Jul 2026 7f Flat Maiden Yielding
