FormscanBy Tom Weekes - Open looking and PICTURES OF HOME might win. PICTURES OF HOME is winless from six career runs but is just a 5yo and has shown some useful bits of form in two recent runs. He was a beaten favourite over course and distance in January but that was his first start at three miles and with the benefit of that handicap debut run behind him, should progress more and can win from his mark. Shar Whats Therush has won just once, when gambled in November 2017, from 16 starts but returned to form this winter and is very much proven on testing ground, over staying trips and should get involved. The Trigger managed five consecutive wins, aged 11, last year and is interesting on his first run since October. He finished sixth in the competitive Cork National then and while beaten on his last two hurdle outings despite being rated higher over fences, has today's trip in his favour, although he today's testing ground might catch him out. Thunderosa is a lightly raced 9yo but has won a point-to-point and been running well enough in similar handicaps recently to suggest he can run well. Exciting Oscar won over CD in November and while beaten from his revised mark subsequently, has obvious claims again today as a proven type in staying races. Classic Concorde was a wide-margin chase winner in November and while pulled up on his latest start, is better judged by his third-placing at Limerick in early December. Owenacurra Lass steps up to three miles for the first time since a point-to-point debut unseat, has been running well enough and could figure.
