FormscanBy Tom Weekes - Laurina's half-brother STARMAN debuts for Willie Mullins at a notable time of year and could well book his Cheltenham ticket with a debut win here. A E50,000 2yo purchase in France, he is also a half-brother to another smart French performer Lamigo and will obviously know his job on debut for a yard in top form. Mylestown Upper, an E82,000 3yo purchase, hails from a useful French family and will also know his job on debut and should also go well. Meet And Greet has shown form and contested a useful bumper at Limerick over Christmas, but is vulnerable to smart types. Tucson Train won a point-to-point on debut and while he was well beaten by the winner at Leopardstown over Christmas, has some place claims today. Emmet Mullins' Shake Him Up, a E6,000 3yo purchase, is possibly best watched with Patrick Mullins riding his father's well bred STARMAN. Salamanca Bay, a E65,000 3yo purchase from a good French family, represents a yard doing well from small numbers while Johnny Murtagh's Ithaka, for his sporting owner, is a half-brother to a point-to-point winner. Minella Universe is a half-brother to seven winners and should go well for a yard which would traditionally target point-to-points, currently curtailed, with young horses. Another Scotch is from the distant family of high-class hurdler Browne's Gazette and could also run well on debut.
