Formscan By Alan Magee - EMBITTERED is a Grade 3 winner over fences and held a career high mark of 147 following a valuable handicap win at Navan nearly two years ago. He’s returned to winning ways this season and easily beat Prince Of Air over a similar trip at Killarney last month, with The Dara Man back in fourth. Jasko Des Dames won twice over fences last term and is an obvious threat. He wasn’t helped by a mistake at the last when a creditable fifth behind Jazzy Matty in the Grand Annual Handicap Chase at the Cheltenham Festival, but any further rain may spoil his chance. The Banger Doyle is a consistent sort in this grade and was second to the progressive Solness in this race 12 months ago.
