Formscan By Alan Magee - KOPEK DES BORDES easily won a valuable sales bumper at Fairyhouse last Easter and maintained his unbeaten record when switching to hurdles here at Christmas. The son of No Risk At All didn’t impress with his jumping but still finished strongly to beat Kawaboomga (won since) with Whinney Hill beaten about seven lengths in third. Hopefully the selection can brush up his jumping technique and he gets the vote over stablemate Kaid D’authie who made all to win here over 2m4f. Bleu De Vassey was no match for stable companion Romeo Coolio last time in a Grade 1 over course and distance but had Eastern Legend, Karafon, Karniquet and Sea Of Sands all behind.
