Formscan - HANDSTANDS found significant improvement when switched to fences last season and put in a career best when beating subsequent Arkle winner Jango Baie in the Scilly Isles at Sandown in February. He was badly hampered when pulled up at Aintree on his sole subsequent start and Ben Pauling's gelding can make amends on his return. Resplendent Grey won the bet365 Gold Cup when last seen and could prove to be the main threat, ahead of The Kalooki Kid.
