Formscan By Tom Weekes - CAPPACURRY ZAK was a winner over hurdles at Limerick over Christmas and might be able to get off the mark over fences here. The fact he makes his handicap chase debut here is a concern but his chase mark is 11lbs below his hurdles rating. Lisclogher Lad has won just once on the racecourse but was a close second at Limerick over Christmas behind a well handicapped winner. That was his own handicap chase debut and he has obvious claims from a 3lbs higher mark here. Winter Magic has top weight but has won under big weights in the past and takes a drop in class from his Cork outing recently. Glen Ode wasn’t beaten far latest and has some claims while Maguire's Glen might be able to win a handicap chase from his current mark but has a bit to find with Lisclogher Lad on recent Limerick form. Soaring High has clearly had his training problems but was the subject of plenty market support when exiting at the first fence at Clonmel last March. He is 4lbs out of the handicap now but stiil races from just 88 and market support would be notable.
