FormscanBy Tom Weekes - SHANTREUSSE has proven form in a bumper where the newcomers play a big part. SHANTREUSSE was well backed on debut at Navan in February and while ultimately beaten 8L by Ginto, that winner was expensively bought, is highly regarded type and the fourth-placed horse finishing second in a hurdle next-time. SHANTREUSSE has plenty ability and it will take a good newcomer to beat him. Willie Mullins' Hemlock was withdrawn 'lame' from a Thurles bumper just 12 days ago and is a notable newcomer. By Walk In The Park, he is the first foal from a mare who is related to useful jumping types and Hemlock will know his job. Bells Life, whose namesake was a good chaser 20 years ago, is notable on debut for Edward O'Grady. A half-brother to five flat winners, he is also the half-brother to a Grade 3 hurdle winner and can get involved. Justbeyondthemoon ran well enough on bumper debut at Galway last October but needs to improve to win this. On A Rainy Day, by Shirocco and in a first-time tongue-tie, is the first foal from an unraced dam who is related to useful winners. Ross Lily is a half-sister to five-time winner Leanne while Island Glory's dam is from the family of smart chaser Valley Henry and can go well on debut.
