Formscan By Tom Weekes - MESSERSCHMITT brings an 83 flat rating to hurdling and has the size to do well in this sphere. Out of a half-sister to a Group 1 winner and a debut dead-heat winner last October, he has since run well in some smart races and it is encouraging that he debuts so early in the juvenile-hurdle season, suggesting he has schooled well. Ceol Draiochta ran well on career debut at Ballinrobe. That form has yet to be properly tested, with those involved at the business end showing just modest prior flat form, but has an experience-edge. Solar Drive has done well on the flat, will stay national hunt distances and should also take well to hurdling, for an in-form yard.
