Formscan By Alan Magee - HAMUNDARSON is reportedly held in good regard by connections and may start to justify his price tag. The Stowaway gelding fetched 120,000 at the Goffs Land Rover Sale last year and has a pedigree with a number of bumper winners close-up including the smart Joe Cullen. Gigginstown also went to 120,000 to purchase Decimation at the 2018 Goffs Land Rover Sale, while Ramillies is another to note closely in the betting market. He was snapped up by current connections for all of 215,000 at the Cheltenham Festival Sale soon after winning a point-to-point across the water at Bishops Court. The pick of those with form under rules may prove to be Risk Factor. His second to Russian Diamond at the Galway Festival has worked out well since and Joseph O’Brien’s bumper horses have been in red-hot form over the past month or so. Ultima Thule is another to consider having kept on nicely behind the odds-on Easywork (won again since over hurdles) at Down Royal last month.
